Is Terror alert to flip CA still a Shrub back up plan?????
WTF do you all make of this ??

http://www.legitgov.org/essay_kane_fema_terror_drill_102904.html

I stumbled over this in a post over at Americablog.org Nobody responded to it. I didn't really pay much attention to it and chalked it up to more tin foil hat theories.

Then i got to thinking. Im pretty convinced that the Repukes plan has always been to keep it close so that they could suppress votes as we are seeing them try to do and contest votes as we are also seeing them put in motion. But those only will work if its close. If Kerry's Big MO starts flippin states like Virginia and Arkansas and Florida etc then what. California's 55 electoral would offsett allot of lost east coast states.

That train of though brought me back to when the congress in the summer declared that the election would not be "influenced" or postponed for a terror alert or attack. Everyone thought this was a great insulation to the rumors of Bush postponing the election. But maybe that was never their plan but was rather to insure that we couldn't stop it in spite of a voter suppression event on the scale of a terror alert of Red in CA.

Then i kept thinking about the Osama tape and the tape of the supposed American terrorist making threats and Tom ridge stating we wont raise the alert. These guys always end up doing the opposite of what they tell us, time and time again.

The last kicker was watching Bush on the stump after the tape was released and then tonight when interviewed buy Brokow, when asked about the tape and having not captured Osama he states...""Well, first, he's not going to intimidate or decide this election. ......" http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6363855/
This was clearly Shrubs teams agreed upon talking point on the tape. I started thinking about how this is kind of a weird response. The tape doesn't threaten the elections or seek to influence them directly, so his words strike me as perhaps more to insulate him after a RED alert is set in motion and tell people the election must go on and we wont be "intimidated or influenced"

Ok its late Im tired some one tell me Im totally seeing phantoms where they dont exist.

1. No way in hell will Shrub win California
Just won't happen. So put those fears away.

Bushie is looking tired, worn out, and bears all the hallmarks of a man whose bubble is finally deflating (along with his limp organ).

Relax, have a drink, and tomorrow help GOTV.

2. Would not work in California
Probably be worth about 5% increase in the popular vote here. Not enough to win our 55 EV. We're not that fearful out here since we've never been hit.

3. No way
As I've said before, the only * suppourters in CA are the usual suspects, the rich, fundies, white flight suburbanites, gun-nuts, fetophiles, and rednecks. Half of them sound a bit timid and apologetic about it and may not bother to show up. Turn-out will be high and the base is fired up.
