OHIO Vote Supression: Backlash Effect?

Might the now widely publicized efforts of the GOP to intimidate/supress "voting while black" in Ohio have an unintended backlash effect?

I.E. black voters getting wind of this, and getting so pissed off as to be determined to vote in larger numbers than ever?

Is this message getting out in the community? In Ohio? Florida?

1. a LOT of people know about vote supression

its been covered a lot in local media, at least in columbus. at least people know its just a transparent way to keep them from voting

This could definitely work out in our favour afterall; the extra voters turning up because of the reports may outnumber the number of votes they can supress.

You know, it's just SICK that we even have to THINK about something like voter supression in the USA. It's sick.

If there was such a thing as a backlash against Republicans, they wouldn't do what they do.

The reason they do it is because there is no backlash.

We're still waiting for the backlash against the Clinton impeachment, and Bush, and the Swift Boat Liars, and the Arnold Recall and...

Give up on backlashes against the GOP.

They overreached with Clinton and got their ass whupped but good, if you remember.

And there are plenty of people in Ohio of all ethnicities, I'd wager, who find such blatant attempts to fuck with democracy deeply offensive.

I give those voters plenty of credit. I think they'll do the right thing.
