C-Span must look like the Horror Channel to Karl Rove |
|
Watching the packed crowd at the Edwards rally last night, I was thinking how bad this must look from Bush's point of view.
I'm hearing about how there's going to be record attendance at the caucuses, and how EVERY candidate has been getting way more people at their events than they expected.
And also about how the overriding concern among dem voters is who can beat Bush. All these normal people are energized, and focussed on one thing: beating Bush. I'd be scared if I were him.
And meanwhile, Cheney is droning on in Beverly Hills, and Bush is assailed by boos at his own photo-op.
And best of all, there's nothing they can do about it. This campaign is not going to be fun for Bush. :-)

2. This is SO good! Any one of our candidates can crush *. |

My favs from the caucus now are: Dean (duh?) Edwards (he's moved up - think he's a good speaker, but worry that if he got the nomination he wouldn't fight back when they try to "Gore" him) Gep (he's okay).
I am thrilled that people are so involved and read to TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK.

Those kind of hunting accidents happen all the time, ya know. Though it's more common hunting deer than duck, usually.

3. That's wonderful news! |

And now candidates have toned down the attacks on each other, and the story is now on who will win. Having it be this competitive is great because it draws more attention to our candidates and what they stand for.

8. I heard an interesting statistic last night |
|
Someone on one of the talking head shows said that Voter registration in Iowa was up 300% they went on to say that this makes the polls in Iowa almost useless atm. What they failed to mention was that if voter registration is up by that much its not because people are content with bush in office.
Bush is gonna lose this election and handily I think.
