Melissa Etheridge wrote this song about Mark Bingham, one of the passengers on Flight 93 on September 11 who supposedly tried to take back the plane from the hijackers. He also happened to be gay, something that was mostly ignored by the media.

However, the lyrics apply for today November 2nd. It is a powerful call for everyone to do whatever possible on this Tuesday to elect John Kerry and a Democratic Congress!
