I can't believe it's finally here! |
|
I feel woozy. It's been such a long four years and we've been through SO much it's just hard to believe it's FINALLY ELECTION DAY!
I feel emotional, shaky, nervous, exhilarated, tense, scared, excited, anxious, thrilled... all at once. I'm going to have a nervous breakdown before this is over, I just know it.

If we have a decisive victory for Kerry by this time tomorrow (preferably much earlier), my neighbors are going to wake to the strains of "God Bless America," sung by me at the top of my lungs! (Oh, if only I had a bullhorn!)

17. Trying to decide how to toast the Kerry victory now. My choices are |
|
a good ale, some muscadine wine, dark rum, or bourbon. (I never realized I had so much alcohol in the house!)
If we by some miracle pull off a win in NC, it will have to be the muscadine wine, since it is from NC.
hmmmm, choices, choices.
And then - dancing naked in the streets, running up and down with my peace flag, honking the car horn, ....

5. It almost doesn't seem real. Been counting down the months, weeks, |
|
days for so long, I'm sorta waiting for someone to tell me it's not really Nov. 2 yet. But all of the early morning posts say NOVEMBER 2. So it has to be true! :bounce:
We are all going to make it through this day and however long it takes! :) May it not take long at all. ;)

I'm near the flip-out stage, and I really should try to grab a couple hours of shut-eye -- tomorrow (today) will be a loooong one.
Here's to all my Democratic brothers and sisters -- we will win this thing, and get our country back!!!!

I slept well last night. It's 6:16 here in Florida. I have to work all day (9 to 5) so I will have the TV on at my store so I can see what's going on throughout the day. Then home to watch the returns! I can't tell you how excited I am too! I won't go to bed until I hear the words: "John Kerry has been elected as the next President of the United States!" And boy will I sleep even better tonight!

Just hang in there and we will make it through this together. We've waited far too long to become basket cases now. Here's a big hug for support.

All of my best experiences in life have begun with an awful case of jitters.
I just voted this morning. The earliest polls open at 6 AM here in the East.
So.... working, waiting, and hoping!
