Bill Richardson for Secretary of State? |
Edited on Sat Jan-17-04 01:41 PM by Cascadian
What do you think? I know I discussed Carol Mosley-Braun as a possible cabinet member in any Democratic candidate's government. But why not Bill Richardson for Sec. of State? Why do think the North Koreans bypassed Powell and went to New Mexico to speak to Richardson? He seems to have a great understanding in world affairs plus he could be good for dealing with Latin America. I think any of the candidates should seriously consider him for the post.

1. He would make a great Sec of State |
But he holds more power and more electability to high office later on as a Governor.

3. Why would he take the job? |
Seems to me he ought to wait a few years, run for President in 2008 or 2012... he's got executive experience, foreign policy experience, and he starts in the Southwest. If this guy is Presidential timber, we should keep him where he is for the time being.
