Huge turnout at my polling spot in Northern Virginia |
|
All the older people in line were saying that they've never seen the line so long, so early. I got to the polls at 6am, right when they open and the line was already 45 minutes long...
I'm so excited, especially after that Kerry rally in Cleveland last night!!!!

9. Voter Turn Out in Huntington Woods, Michigan (Oakland County) |
|
Historically, the City of Huntington Woods has recorded a Voter turn out of between 87 and 92%.
And as a result, We have Democrat U.S. Senators and Representative, and a Vibrant New Democrat Governor working for Us.

4. Big turn out already.... |
|
...at a District 4 Polling Place in Nottoway County (Southern Virginia). I was the 56th person to be voting at 6AM. Last election cycle I voted in the evening and I was the 90-something person to vote. They said they had 20 Absent Ballots, which was A LOT for them.
I'm not sure who is voting which way. It might be close in Virginia, I'm not sure if Kerry will get it, but I pray to God that he does. If he can win Virginia he's won the election. That's my take.

5. Same here in Chesterfield Co. (@ 15 miles from Richmond) |
|
I got in line at 6:12 a.m. and figured there were about 100 people outside the polling place (elementary school). When I finally voted and put my ballot in the machine, it was 7:02 a.m.
It was the 165th ballot of the morning.
The older gentleman manning the ballot-counting machine told a man in front of me that the crowd was at least twice the size of any other crowd that he'd seen for a general election at that time of day.
Just a stunning day already...

8. My polling place was packed but lots of Repug sample ballots |
|
Was kind of depressing.
My wife and I got out there and voted Dem but really short ballot this time. Socas against Wolf and Kerry against Bush with a couple of no-brainer bond issues for getting more money to the schools and parks.
