Christie Brinkley ripping Bush on Imus Show

She had some choice words for ex-cop Bo Deadle (sp) who said if Kerry was elected there would be a mushroom clould over New York. Christie went on to say that bush put more cops at risk by taking 80,000 of them off the streets of America.

"I could not let these words go unanswered" she insisted.

9. I've always loved Christie and her activism. She is the first

person I've ever heard on television actually remind people that the attacks happened on Bush's watch after he was explicitly warned about the potential. She also wisely brought up the fact that he fought the 911 commision.

I rarely watch the show because I don't enjoy seeing people, even those who may deserve it, be ridiculed the minute they get off the phone or leave the studio.

24. My friend saw her in person once....

She didn't know who she was. My friend was a school teacher, and Christie was in town visiting relatives or something. She came to the school with another person to pick up their kids, and my friend said everybody was just speechless. Most didn't know right away who she was, and said she was even more beautiful in person, after they realized. They said she absolutely radiated.... and these were all WOMEN who were awestruck!LOL! I can only imagine what the men thought!!!
