I just voted and I feel . . .angry.
I didn't help to see Diebold on the screen, but I guess I'm just overwhelmed by the bullshit of this campaign. We've got a president trying to slick us and I'm disgusted at the lengths we've had to go to in our efforts to set the record straight and hold the counterfeit losers in the White House accountable. I've had it. This isn't a game with me and I've been forced to play it like one. Now I feel dirtied by a process that hasn't represented the best of my instincts and values. I'm deeply hurt by the needless deaths that surround Bush's manufactured war and his arrogant imperialism. I'm sick with worry over the future of our environment. I'm saddened by the continued poor state of our crumbling schools. I'm in despair over the lost jobs and inadequate wages. I'm anxious about the lack of affordable health insurance. And I'm disgusted by the takeover of our government by those who would hijack the product of our sacrifices for personal greed and conquest.

This is an exciting day, and I'm just pissed. And sad. Good luck to us.

2. I voted early, but I fear that many will get into violent confrontation
REPUGS sent to try to disrupt and intimidate. I am a five foot 2 inch female, but I was loaded for bear even last week. A guy was walking through the lines videotaping and after standing there more than two hours, I called him out and demanded to know who he worked for and who had given him permission to videotape within the grocery store only feet from the polling booths. It turn out he was some documentarian with a Croatian (I think) accent and was totally not understanding what I was asking. An American woman came up shortly and I explained that this was a tactic some were using to intimidate immigrants and others from voting and wanted to know who they represented. Turns out they were probably on the up and up, but the woman knew and was sensitive to my point and took the guy out to explain. I think the crowd was sort of amused at my assertiveness & insistence, but, like I said, I was already loaded for bear...!

Be safe guys.... DOn't get arrested... Make it clear who is the disruptor and who is just trying to persue their constitutional right to vote. But, stand your ground.... Get it on video or film or cell phone to 1-866-yourvote, if you are confronted. DEMAND to have their id before answering ANY of their questions. You can also refuse to answer until you get inside to discuss with a poll worker. In fact, I would not answer ANYTHING outside in line for one of these asswipes. And, look out for those who may speak little or poor English or others who may appear more susceptible to bullying.

6. Shows just how much our country has changed for the worse.
A few years ago you would have waved at the camera.

7. I guarantee there will be some fist fights breaking out in some of these
lines. It could get ugly. I know I've come close twice in the last week of getting nasty with someone (well, I did get nasty, but not violent). I just hate Bush for everything he's done and hasn't done, and it's hard not to feel that anger swell up when confronted by one of the assholes that put him there in the first place (not the USSC) and now have the unmitigated gall to try to put him back in for ANOTHER 4 years of hell.

8. Solid Democratic area in New Jersey.
Rethugs wouldn't dare try anything in my neck of the woods. Hope everyone can remain non-violent, but a girl/guy has to do what she/he has to do.

Peace & happy voting!

4. I agree 100%. It still leaves me completely incredulous, that
we've had to make even 10% of the effort we've expended in exposing the lies and crimes of the Bush junta. What the hell is wrong with this country? All we can hope for, is that our efforts will be vindicated, and that our opinions as to the general level of American voter's intelligence and morals, will be shown to have been underestimated. Let us hope....

5. Your vote put one more nail in...
... Bush's political coffin. It's time for all of us to stop thinking as if we are victims. :P
