We vote last, we hear the estimates before we even vote (sometimes), we get no visits because we are soildly Kerry supporters. We still vote though!!!

Oh, my daughter voted for the first time today, for Kerry!

15. hey! you're pissing off the natives! Like myself. The WA is skookum!
The state of WA is a skookum place to be, and be from....

let the 'right coasters' and the 'flatlanders' have their time,
begrudge them not their early sunrise,
afterall, here in the WA state,
as with all the left coast,
and our water-surrounded pacific island brethern,
we *are* the whitecap, the foaming fist of water,
high on the wave,
that ends it.
Here.
And now.

WA State Rules!

Pun there for those who know, WA is 'harmony' in one language, and the sound of power in two others. Do you know which?

Salish say,
two-oh-atan, two-oh-atan,
this day's rain waters my child's year.

Let it rain.
May this day's rain be plentiful.
May our enemies be washed clean (purified of hatred) in this day's rain.
May we (the people/salish) always stand, where rain and river meet the ocean.
Let it rain.

*****
Buck Fush, y'all.
Buck Fush....

18. Don't get me wrong
I love washington, just is not as exciting as the rest of the battleground states.

You sound like one of the native americans in the area (obviously). I am pure white european, but my kids went to a native focused school.

We have been treated to visits to the Ka Nee Ta reservation in Oregon, Grey Eagle was my kids favorite storyteller, and I have been to more Pow Wow's and culture nights than I can count.

Washington Rocks!
