On the Today Show.

If that's true, then I must have read on this board about every single one of the 3% who are supporting Kerry!

Yeah, right!

3. After all this is over, can we hunt down Tweety and torment him?
I like the idea of stripping him naked, smearing him with honey and tieing him down on an anthill.

Who cares what Sweety Tweety says?
He's a freakin fair weather monkey who exploits any lie, twist or spin that promotes his lips to Scrub's ass. I'll be sooooo happy when President Kerry brings some sanity back to America. We need it in the worst way...

his wife voted for Gore, and his son voted for Nader.

11. Then his wife is a lot smarter than
he is. I'll bet his son has seen the error of his ways and will be a Kerry voter this time around.

Matthews is just a cheap, two-bit tele-whore.

12. he also said on the Today show that
"rain in the swing states would be good for the Republicans."

As if . . .Dems are unmotivated weanies without rain gear.

How he gets highly paid for his inane and idiotic commentary truly boggles the mind.

14. Since when?
A few days back I read it was about 91%, with Kerry very close to the same among Dems.

These guys just pull shit out of their asses constantly. I trust no polls that they cite for this junk.

17. That number is WRONG. It's more like 86-89%.
The same is true for Democrats who support Kerry. About a tenth of them wander off the reservation.

But 97%? Come on, Tweety. Do your homework.

19. Here are two good stories to help prove that false...
I work in a high end restaurant popular with business men (lots of repubs) and one of our regular guests called me over to his table. Now, I love this guy ... he treats us all so well, and didn't want to get into it as I am so insanely passionate about this election. He put me right on the spot, demanding to know who I am voting for. I just smiled and shook my head. He said, "Bush, right?" Argh! "Hell, no!" I replied. I was busy, so I had to excuse myself ... and he told me to come back because he had to talk to me. When I finally went back, he asked "Why are you voting for Kerry?" Two Kerry supporting women joined the table, but weren't talking. I knew they were setting me up. Rich kept asking me why, and I kept shaking my head. Finally, Rich shouted "We're voting for Kerry, too!" referring to his business partner sitting next to him. I tackled him and planted a big kiss on his cheek. He is a republican and very wealthy. He even said "How could anyone vote for Bush!" so he's not merely anti-Bush but certainly pro-Kerry. The second story is that my repub doctor friend gave a lecture this morning, adding a presidential quiz to the end of the presentation. Everyone began asking his opinion on this race, assuming of course that he would be for Bush being the devout republican that he is ... (or was ). He told them proudly that he was voting for Kerry and reveled as the collective repub jaws hit the floor. I think he got his parents (also physicians) to vote Kerry, too. Don't lose faith! Smart people for Kerry!

That was my point -- that with all the anecdoctal evidence I've read on this board, I KNOW that statistic Mathews quoted is WRONG! :yourock:
