"... But Still I Am One."
As of today I personally have verified 8 votes that I have convinced to vote for Kerry/Edwards.

- Myself (obviously)
- My friend Anthony (usually a non-voter)
- My friend Kari (usually a non-voter)
- My Mom (an Independent, Gore-supporter 2000)
- My Dad (voted Bush 2000)
- My Sister (voted Bush 2000)
- My Brother-in-Law (voted Bush 2000)
- My Friend Tina (thought she wouldn't be able to vote because she couldn't find her voter registration card)

"I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something I can do."

1. Good job!
You're a wonderful citizen. I didn't check with my niece to see if she was registered. She didn't. I'm not sure she wanted to vote this time; she didn't make it a priority, with her wedding, college, job, etc going on. She and her husband argued over who (Bush or Kerry) was Dem and who was Repub. She promised me she'd vote in the next election.

My mother-in-law turned into a Bush supporter within the last three weeks. I'm glad she isn't bothering to vote. She never has and probably never will.

3. Well, I Asked My Friend Tina Who She Was Voting For
And she said, "I'm not."

And I said, "Why the f@$# not!?" (or some variation thereof)

And she said, "I can't find my registration card."

And I said, "You don't need it. Just bring in your driver's license and maybe on other thing with your name and address on it."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

Then there was a silence, and I started to get a bad feeling, and I said... "Wait... who are you planning to vote for?"

And she said, "BUSH!!'

Turns out she was only yanking my chain though (she had me convinced for a minute).
