Donetta's brother was in a motorcycle accident yesterday and she has gone to AZ for one week.

1. well, I certainly don't wish her or her brother ill and I'm glad she did

the right thing in going to be with him. But, I suspect there is someone even more partisan and under Bill Owen's thumb that will step in. The next thing we have to work on, along with reforming the media via the FAIRNESS DOCTRINE, is to get highly partisan REPUGS out of the Secretary of State offices and as lead County Elections officials in the largest and most problemmatic counties.

2. BTW, Otohara... I mentioned talking with a Denver Election

Commissioner/Denver County Commissioner whe I was in line to vote early last week, who argued that Donetta had never said she was going to restrict official use of provisional ballot results to the Presidential race and not look at results for other races. Now, I know this was repeatedly reported on television, radio, and print news, but this woman said it was never a valid story (and she's a Democrat). Do you remember this? I think it was even picked up nationally. Knowing it was blatantly illegal, I didn't worry too much, but it was telling how far our own State's bastard REPUGS would go to try to manipulate.
