The TV Pundits

I have been watching the voting coverage on most of the major networks. The democratic operatives have done a VERY good job of placing their spokesmen.

On most of the networks its been one excited democratic pundit after another. They all seem excited about the voter turn out and the way the voting is proceeding. It is really creating an air of excitement for Kerry and change.

The Repukes that have been on TV have seemed downcast and fear and terror is sprinkled in every sound bite. It does not seem to be a very effective rallying call for *'s supporters to get out in the elements and stand in line and vote. (especially with all those hooded democrats waiting in the long lines)

An article in today's WaPo mentioned how the Repukes we're fearing they'd be overwhelmed by Dem turnout. And they were right!

I wore mine today - not because of Eminem, but because it's a little nippy outside. In fact, I've been wearing hooded sweatshirts in the fall ever since I was 10-years-old! Has Eminem ever acknowledged my trennd-setting? NO! NOT ONCE! :)

They were showing lines in Cleveland and there were dark blue and black hoods all down the line. BEAUTIFUL sight.

7. Watching the coverage is an understatement!

For the last several months, AldebTX, my partner of 13 years, has been glued to political websites, Air America, The Daily Show, and DU. I'd say about half of our conversations have been political in nature. If I wasn't political myself, I might be tempted to be upset at his unidirectional focus. As it is, I am proud that he is so engaged in democracy and in ridding this great country of this plague we have been enduring for the last four years.
