And I have to fess up. I'm atoning for my serious error in judgment in 2000 (and previous years) by voting for a Democrat for the first time in my life (18 voting years)!!

9. I was calm last night, but when I voted I was a wreck!

I was so anxious to vote and vote properly that my hand shook as I signed the book -- and I've been voting for 32 years.

Whenever I handed them my voter card, my hand shook as if I were a crackhead that the Reagan Administration put out on the street. Then it shook even harder when I marked the spot next to Kerry/Edwards. Thank God it was a paper ballot. I'd still be there if it was Diebold, trying to figure out how to beat the cheat.

5. It FEELS like we are making a difference....

for the first time in a long time it actually fells like we are being counted.....I felt a great sense of power when I marked that dem box on my ballot!

8. Yup, a GOTV DFL'er stopped by just now and....

...asked me if I was going to vote, I said "I all ready did"! He asked if my Wife was going to and yes, she is going to this afternoon.

I walked out my front door and my 60 year old neighbor across the street flagged me down. "Wasn't that Kerry rally something...oh it was so great!"

I feel good.
