I'm a teacher, and if I could, I'd be at home. We are starting state testing today. I'm wearing a Kerry/Edwards shirt under my school shirt- My little way of "demonstrating."

5. NCLB drove my hubby out of teaching. He doesn't regret leaving

because he was burned out anyway, but he hates that our own kids have to go through school just when it's reaching new lows.

10. oh you poor thing....I am a teacher too, but

I called in "sick" today....on other days, I check DU between every class, at lunch, and during my prep period. Have to stay updated! Also, I tune in AAR on the puter during lunch and prep. Just keep checking in here all day!
