LOL, PA freepers say they're being invaded by New York
NEW YORKER DEMOCRATS ARE MAKING THEIR WAY DOWN TO PHILLY IN BUSLOADS!!!

Posted on 11/02/2004 7:06:58 AM PST by wedwo

Philadelphia! Get out and show Bush support. The Demoncrats are getting out of State supporters.

I just looked out of my office window and saw masses making a line on the side walk. I went down to find out what everyone was waiting for. Turns out bus loads of Kerry supporters are heading down from New York to Philly. Right now the line snakes around the half the block and it's growing. All the buses are private charter. They said there were many such pickup locations arounf the city.

Of course, these are probably union guys coming to do phone calls this afternoon and get the vote out, but I thought the freeper reaction was hysterical.

5. No No No
Thousands of new voters who are pissed off about the chimp in charge is voter fraud. Disenfranchising thousands of minorities in Florida during the 2000 election is just voter irregularities. Just ask the frepeers, they'll tell ya.

8. Oh, they are insane
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 10:49 AM by philaguy

On another thread, they are posting the number of the PA Attorney General based on a report that the local rethugs had sent out *certified* letters to some 131,000 voters in Philadelphia county, and, shock-n-surprise, some of those voters were dead, had defunct addresses, moved, or didn't pick up the certified letter at the post office.

I, for one, virtually never receive certified mail, since I work during the day pretty far from home and getting to the post office to pick up a letter from an anal doofus is not my highest priority.

I want to know in what fantasyland people who move away contact their former election department and "de-register" themselves from where they were formerly registered. Duh. Nobody does that. You just vote in your new place.

But, yeah, campaign workers on buses - the thought is horrifying. Now, if PA could have just kept out those jerks on the big blue & white 747...

10. I have a few friends going to do house-to-house in PA.
They're not union, just dedicated Democrats. ACT and another group have been distributing flyers with the transportation info for a couple of weeks.
