Kerry Speaking at Rally in Copley Square Tonight; Details Inside
I'll be at this rally with a few of my friends. Don't know if anyone is interested/can attend, but here are the details:

People attending the event - either a victory celebration or a concession of defeat - will have to pass through metal detectors at entrances to the plaza, bookended by the majestic Boston Public Library and Trinity Church.

The area is scheduled to open at 7 p.m. although Kerry himself is not expected to appear until polls on the West Coast close at 11 p.m. EST.

Bruce Springsteen will not be making an appearance, but other pro-Kerry crooners will be entertaining the crowd. Jon Bon Jovi and James Taylor are rumored to be two musicians expected to take a turn on stage.

The Secret Service is in charge of security at the event. The agency typically releases few details about security arrangements. A spokesman could not be reached late yesterday afternoon.

btw: the Herald is a rag, but it's the best info I could find from Google.

I'll be wearing a black leather jacket. If we miss each other, I am planning to go to Bukowski's for a beer later on in the evening.
