2. After serious consideration |

I am choosing Edwards as my second choice. He continually runs a positive message.
I kind of like the idea of a Clark/Edwards ticket. :-)

Would be undefeatable. Bush would have NO chance of reelection.

3. That ad is stunning. Just like the candidate. Please take a look. Please. |
|
I know Dean has appropriated the term, but John Edwards' campaign is, in fact "The Perfect Storm."
I hope I get to see that ad on a bigger screen. This is almost surreal. Wonderful, but almost surreal.

I love the way this theme has found his campaign. It started with the Des Moines Register endorsement: "his time is now", which rejected the argument that Edwards doesn't have enough experience.
This amazing ad reaches out to voters who are looking for a positive vision for America: your time is now.
I just opened my mail and had a letter from the campaign:
our time is now.

they were NOT smiling. To think of what they might do, makes me worry a lot. There is no way they could want Edwards on the ticket, much less at its top!!

And just three weeks ago, I despaired of him ever 'catching on'.
I think he always knew he could do it.

I've always said he's on the right trajectory to win.
Tomrrow for him is always better than yesterday. I think it has always been that way for him throughout his life.

Hmmm, I am reminded of Ronnie's "Morning in America" ads now. Well, they did work.

and I have to say: that is THE best ad, bar none, I've seen in this election cycle.
IMHO, if we are to win in November, we will need to be running ads similar to this most of the time.
It's not enough to point out the outrages, errors, and weaknesses of the opponent. We need to give the American people a positive message of who we are and where we want to take the country.
Still undecided, but John Edwards' stock has been soaring over the last couple of weeks, in my book.

29. I Have Supported Edwards from the Beginning |
|
I admire his tenacity and his true "above the fray" stance on neg. attacks. This ad is one of the best I've seen. And now, it's all coming together for him. Even if he doesn't win the nomination, I hope he's on the ticket as VP or in a Democratic cabinet. He's an articulate, caring man and we need more people like him in government

|
some rare people have the ability to make a strong, immediate impression on you, Edwards is one, Clinton was one even Carter to a lesser degree and of course Kennedy (JFK nothte others).
I started with his platform as I do with these sorts of situations. It was studied and right on the money for what's happening in America. Then as I came to know the man... well that was all I needed.
None of the others come close.
Go Edwards !

35. This Dean supporter thinks that was a terrific ad! |
|
Hey, if John Edwards does well, it's all good. Every time I see a Wesley Clark bumper sticker, frankly, I get as cheered up as I do when I see a Dean bumper sticker. When I see evidence of Kerry appreciation, it pleases me. When I see a Kucinich sign, I am pleased. ANY of these is good. ANY. It's only the occasional "bush/cheney 04" bumper sticker that blackens my mood.
Here in So Cal, I do not see many Edwards signs or bumper stickers. I suspect the results in Iowa AND New Hampshire will have a major bearing on what further stickers I DO see.
But ANY Dem who does well is potentially great news. I would support ANY of 'em. Dean's top on my list, but ANY of 'em are more than okay by me. I'd hold my nose for Lieberman, but at least he wouldn't surround himself with the Neocon bastards bush has.
