Thank You To ALL Democratic Primary Candidates |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 12:36 PM by cryingshame
Having seen two threads now devoted to thanking Howard Dean, I feel it is time to acknowledge the other Democratic Candidates who each had their own unique and EQUALLY IMPORTANT impact on our political process.
Dennis Kucinich, Wesley Clark, Dick Gephardt, Bob Graham, Carol Mosley-Braun, Al Sharpton, and YES even Joe Lieberman (whose Joementum didn't pan out).
Congratulations to John Edwards for securing the VP slot.
In my own personal view, Wesley Clark's taking back Patriotism and Family Values was a HUGE part of John Kerry and John Edward's winning message.
Here's to ALL the Democrats who stood and ran for the Pary's nomination!

2. I'm proud to have supported General Clark . |

He like all of the primary candidates have been stalwarts for Kerry and have brought honor to the Democratic Party . I think the two most important contributors to what I am confident will be a victory tonight are an excellent campaign run By John Kerry and the spine transplant that Howard Dean gave us . We should always be grateful to the Governor for what he had the courage to say and the brilliant way he said it . GO KERRY ! TAKE BACK AMERICA

I agree. I hated to give up my DK avatar but I love the "I voted" one too. Kucinich brought to me more enthusiasm for our party than I have ever felt. I still would have been thrilled to vote against Bush* but my party loyalty was hugely boosted by DK. Loved them all, even poor old DINO Joe. At least we knew for sure where he stood.
