6. It's fucktarded that not all of FL closes at once...
Is it that hard to do?

Any dumbass can see that it's not hard to close the Pan-Handle an hour early or the rest of the state an hour late.

9. Michigan closes at 8 est, I'd guess part of the UP votes until 8 cst.
A small part of the UP is in the central time zone. There aren't many votes from up there, and most are going to be Bush votes. If Kerry is leading by a large enough margin at 8 or so, they may be able to project Michigan for him at that point, because the three largest population (Metro Detroit, GR and the Flint/Saginaw/Bay City/Midland area) areas are on Eastern Time.
