Did pukes put too much "faith" in fundies?
It seems like the "Armies of Compassion" are not as passionate as they thought.

1. Let's hope the spiritual left far and away outvotes the rigid religious
right.

2. That "army" is not inspired and determined.
It's hard to get riled up about the status quo. Especially when your "army" believs that God won't let your candidate lose.

3. I know evangelicals who will be voting for Kerry
and while they think most of the people at their former church will probably still vote bush, I also know they are not alone. There are plenty of evangelicals who either won't vote or will vote for kerry, because they cannot stomach four more years of bush's faux sheaux of faith.

7. Many are sseing the hypocrisy of the rush to war vs.
"right ot life" and are deeply troubled by it.

No votes for us, but they won't vote for W, either.

5. IThe Religious Right is over once bush* loses
After this, all the politicians will see that even if you bend over backwards for them, as bush* did, they still can't rustle up enough votes to win an election.

6. Yes.
And I believe it's going to lead to a civil war in the ranks of Republicans.

God has forsaken the fundies. HALLELUJAH!

11. No they didn't.
Those people will vote, and they will vote for Bush in droves. They will crawl over broken glass to get to the polls.

The difference is on our side. This is the first election in a very long time that we have actually succeeded in mobilizing our base.

12. the Fundies are not monolithic like BushCo thinks
Plenty of them have problems with Shrub's reckless policy decisions.

Particularly with his war in Iraq.

Many I think have come to realize that with Bush in office America is going to be stuck all alone in Iraq and Kerry has a good chance of getting some of our alienated allies to join us in getting some order restored there.
