Things that are different this year from other elections
I have never heard of workers crossing state lines to work in battleground states. I might not have been aware or I've forgotten but I'm 54 and been watching politics pretty closely all my life.

The polls have always driven us crazy but I don't remember them being off as badly as they were last go around. My hope is that it only got worse the last 4 years what with the cell phone factor and new voter registration.

I also think this could be a record year for new voter registration. Anyone know?

What else is different this time? (Some of us remember 1968 so don't be telling me kids are more involved or more angry. We rioted at our damned convention for hells sake. We were involved. And divided as John O'Niel reminds us everyday. I suspect its the same this go around.)
