It feels like November 3rd, 1992 all over again. |

I was only eight years old in 1992. My whole community was strongly anti-Clinton, and I was taught to be as well (of course, that all melts away when you're old enough to begin researching this stuff yourself, but I digress). So yes, I was rooting for Poppy. Come on, give a kid a break.
Through all the bullshit I was fed though, I could feel change coming. There was something in the air that day. Something magical. I knew a Clinton win was inevitable, and it was appealing to my inner liberal. It felt damn good. Peace and prosperity were coming.
I didn't have that feeling in 2000. In fact, there was something about that day that seemed foreboding.
Guess what? I just got the optimistic feeling back.
Kerry is going to win.

2. And it's going to be even better than Clinton |
|
Clinton won in large part because Perot siphoned off a ton of votes from Bush the Elder.
This time, Kerry is going to win in a landslide -- and nobody will be able to say he lacks a mandate.
Massive voter turnout = Massive Democratic Party victories.
