I'd also like to see a friggin' Democratic sweep of the whole slate. The Rethug GOP contender (James Whitfield) for our local state house race had the leader of my daughter's girl scout troop (alas, also a rethug) convinced to let him speak to the girls prior to the election. When my wife found out about it, we both went ballistic, let the regional GSA know about it, and said we'd take our daughter out of the troop unless she also brought Whitfield's challenger to the meeting (something I KNEW she wouldn't do).

Oddly enough, they didn't have a guest speaker last week after all; I understand that the GSA councilwoman read her the riot act about being a non-profit organization, and what would have happened if she had injected politics into the mix.
