in South Mississippi and South Louisiana right now. It only takes a few drops in New Orleans to flood the streets.

in our district (south LA) in more than half our precincts we already surpassed turnout from the last election by midday. It looks like we are headed for a record turnout. Even with torrential rain. Its not stopping anyone.

voting is just in-and-out, no lines, no waiting. How TRAGIC to be so firmly in the * camp that the Repukes don't even bother to campaign. And who could blame the Democrats for not wasting their time?

We've got vote by mail in Oregon! As of yesterday, 71% of the vote was already in! (76% in Lane county where I live). http://www.sos.state.or.us/elections/nov22004/g04cum.pdf
