Mrs. Bush calls for "fair" vote

"I know that the American people want a free and fair election and I certainly hope that the election officials and all Americans will be really cooperative to make sure that's exactly what happens," she tells The Early Show co-anchor Rene Syler, in an interview taped Monday.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/11/01/earlyshow/main652744.shtml

Mrs. Bush says this campaign will be her family's last one, no matter what happens. "That's made it sort of nostalgic for me, actually."

LAST?!!! YIPPEEEEE!!!!

9. I really miss him
Oh Rodney was just about the funniest man I ever saw. My god he could put me into convulsions of laughter. I can remember one of his jokes in a late night show monologue. He said he had gotten his wife to join a bridge club. He said she jumps off tomorrow. LOL. If he only knew how much respect he really got and how much he most certainly gets at his passing. RIP Rodney. "You get respect."

15. From the CBS atricle...
"..Mrs. Bush has been one of the most popular first ladies of all time, with polls showing almost 3 in 4 Americans hold a favorable view of her..."

I knew there was something unique about me... I'm that "fourth American" that never got with the program.

17. Me too

Me and my wife go around and around about this. My wife likes John Kerry better than Bush, but Laura better than Theresa.

I ask my wife, "What on earth has Laura ever done with her name recognition and her wealth to help anyone or anything?"

Now what has Theresa done?

I want a women in the White House that WILL DO SHIT. The women in my house does shit...Theresa will be our little environmental czar or maybe she can do what idiot Laura didn't do and help rebuild our school system. :)

20. She hasn't been popular in my house.
She's a stupid, vapid little woman, who, like her simian spouse, has gotten away with serious shit - like mowing down a classmate. She looks heavily medicated. You'd have to be to stay with the most hated man on earth.

18. These bastards don't lack for gall, do they?
Fair?

That's the last thing they want. Rigged in their favor yes, fair? Fair doesn't win for a minority party like the 'pugs.

24. what Laura says, generally is an indication of the talking points to come
lots of Repub lawsuits challenging the vote, imo. She is paving the way. She didn't have too much to say about fair when her beloved murderer stole that last election.

I will be so glad to have a first lady to be proud of instead of a Stepford, submissive, air head who, it is true, did nothing memorable for the four years she was traveling abroad, to Crawford and all over the country on our money. We did not get much back for our money, eh?
