Ashcroft delays hearing into voter registration fraud

My manager and I were discussing today's election and during our conversation she mentioned something about a hearing into a voter registration fraud perpetrated by some big right-wing voter registration company. She said that the judge received a call from none other than ASSCRAFT himself who proceeded to tell (Read THREATEN) the judge that the hearing will be delayed until after the election.

I haven't heard anything about this. Can someone please fill me in on the particulars?

... Sproul & Associates, an AZ company run by a fundie who's likely certifiably insane. This is the company that's been in the news lately for trashing Demo voter registrations while billing its work as non-partisan (Nevada and Oregon), trying to register only Repugs (WV and elsewhere). From the sound of it, it's a very slimy organization.
