It seems the news for Rehnquist isn't very good. His cancer is apparantly more agressive than first thought. He may not "be back to work next (this) week".

Little Sandy O'Conner made that unfortunate but widely know comment about finally being able to retire now that the boy king is in office ..... and she hasn't.

Slappy sez he doesn't wanna decide another selection (yeah, right, you perv.)

So here's my posit .... does Renny call it a life now and fade, leaving the naming of his successor to a lame buck (to say nothing of lame brain) or does he hang in as long as he can?

Will Sandy go to clipping coupons now or after Kerry gets in?

1. Rumor is that they are both waiting for Bush to get the boot.

That in the past year or so, they've really decided he's a fascist prick (especially the last few cases they heard, suspension of habeas corpus and so on). I think they see what many Republicans now see, that he's not a Conservative, he's an Asshole.
