Literally crying. I'm such a dork.

THIS IS DEMOCRACY IN ACTION! WE ARE TAKING OUR COUNTRY BACK!

I'm so shaky and emotional, I hope I get through the day without a nervous breakdown or heart attack or some such shit.

7. This is not the lounge - get tough and stop telling us your emotions
You can cry AFTER we win NOT before.

Why are people acting like we've won something???

GET OUT AND VOTE

13. Nobody said it was over
But I can't help but get choked up when I see one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I have every right to, I've busted my ass for months - years actually - to help this happen.

No, it's not over - but to be fair, I doubt we have many DU'ers that will decide not to bother to vote because turn out is high.

I am still crying over this beautiful display of democracy!

19. So long as we win. Until then...

GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

I do appreciate the sentiments from everybody - I really do - but we MUST keep the pressure on high -

only 500+ votes made the difference last time!!

9. This CNN pic of a kid killing time while her folks voted was cool:

"Emilee Marshall, 8, colors while her parents wait to vote in White House, Tennessee"

It's been a LONG time...TOO long...since we've seen and felt America in this manner.

11. Yes, a very promising day in America.

We ARE going to win, but no matter who wins, the turnout alone is encouraging for democracy. But better yet, as I said, we ARE going to win! :)

However, that being said, I also have to say that WE HAVEN'T WON YET. Don't make a liar of me! Let's go nuts and double our efforts to GOTV, and save the emotions for later, as someone else wisely suggested. There are only a few hours left, we can make it.

15. I know what you mean.
I'm going to be here at work tonight since we are a TV station and have to report local events too. Right before lunch a co-worker, who keeps telling me how awful my job is and how I should leave, said someone tried to shoot Bush while he was voting. As if I'd believe her considering I watched the bloody news before I came to work. She thought for sure I'd believe her and go screaming in the streets. Freak, what's wrong with people? She probably wants Bush to win but won't say anything. She's pals with a real jerk here who's always trying to get me into trouble so I'm starting to think he tells her to get me to leave.

Anyway, at lunch I walk down to the city (smirk) center where they're having a Day of the Dead celebration and I afterwards I walk back and get near to work and a homeless guy asks me for a light and then I realize my purse is gone and I left it in the square. I say the F word and go flying down the sidewalk and there it still was, untouched. What a cool town where no one steals. So, I'm just as worried as a wet hen too about this election, so much so I walk off and foreget my purse. Better stay put.

Oh, and I did vote, but I just can't get the thing to work.
