Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 04:50 PM by faithnotgreed
after seeing their gigantic "board" that wolf just showed, im tempted to switch between cnn and pbs now. i can at least have cnn on mute though so that might be good.

im not usually into technology too much but that board was pretty intriguing. they said they rented out nasdaq space and have a mammoth board to show all the races, state by state when they get the information. they will also incl congressional races and with the outcome, show the balance of power as it were. it will show percentage of precincts reporting along with the numbers and they can have them all running simultaneously.

for once, too much information is a great thing. cannot wait to watch all those great numbers officially come up there for kerry.

but ill still watch cbs, cspan and pbs much more than cnn. the visual of wolf reporting the truth in such large dimensions just pulled me right in! but ill keep that to a minimum

4. I know a lot of people trash this kind of thing..
but I love it. Seeing NBC's Electoral Map on the ice rink really cheers me. And CNN's big Electoral board is lovely.

Then again, I'm very much one of the geekiest of the polysci geeks. You should see my living room right now.. a big board of its own, decorated with portraits of the 4 liberal Supreme Court justices.. lol..

6. i can relate to having my print outs that ill fill in and all that. the
giant screen on cnn is just so interesting because i can see all of it as it happens, as it changes, with the great added benefit of seeing it all hover over wolf. i just love that visual.

cant say i have any pictures of the supreme court though!

5. That's usually the kinda stuff you have to watch a local
station to get news on.

I hate to give them my business, though...
