Do NOT not vote because perhaps your vote isn't needed in the Pres. race. Maybe you're right. But your votes are needed on all the other races - the house, senate, referendums, local races, etc. All of those need progressive votes, and they won't be publicized like the Pres race - and some of those will hit you more directly than the Pres race will.

Even if Kerry is up by 20% in your state, GO VOTE! Vote for other democrats, even if they have no chance - show people that there are more democrats in your area than they might think there are. Vote for progressive referendums to make sure that the policies in your state or county are what they should be. There are many ways your votes will make a difference other than the Pres. race.

1. Screw that
Vote because we need an absolute blowout to show the remaining republican politicians, conservative pundits and a.m. radio propogandists that this is our country and we are taking it back. President Kerry needs a mandate to whip those repubs into shape. Go vote no matter if Kerry is leading by 50%. Vote. Vote. Vote.

Do it now.

KERRY IN A LANDSLIDE, BABY!!!!!

3. I don't think anybody's thinking like that around here.
And people that aren't around here don't know what's going on, and so they're all going to vote anyway.

5. I hope you're right
With the fervor around the Pres. race, just wanted to make sure there's a reminder around that there's much more going on besides that - sometimes people can lose sight of the other stuff because of the focus on the big one.

4. Every vote counts
Every single vote in this country should be counted, and everyone that can should vote. Representational democracy only caters to those whom choose to be represented. I think that our national outlook would get shaken to its very core if everybody of legal age decided to vote.
