THIRD ROUND OF EXITS KEEP KERRY UP!
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 05:00 PM by rawstory
NEW EXITS KEEP KERRY UP

http://rawstory.com

ON EDIT: THERE'S MORE OUT, AND FLA IS CLOSER -- updating post:

Florida: 50/49 - KERRY, Ohio: 50/49 - KERRY, Michigan: 51/47 - KERRY, Pennsylvania: 54/45 - KERRY, Iowa: 50/48 - KERRY, Wisconsin: 51/46 - KERRY, Minnesota: 57/42... Developing.. (these build two sets together for Iowa and Minnesota)

Here's Slate: via Kos: http://slate.msn.com/id/2109053/

Sen. John Kerry looks to make a victory of the electoral college, according to all three sets of exit polls conducted by a consortium of six media organizations (the National Election Pool) that RAW STORY has acquired and confirmed with myriad sources.

All of the polls put Kerry ahead in Florida, Ohio, and New Mexico. The two for which polling was available for other states had Kerry ahead in Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Wisconsin. In the polls received, Bush leads in Colorado, Louisiana and Arizona. Iowa is a tie.

43. Thanks for the welcome...
I don't post much since I work all day at a non-computer related job, and usual hit the internet to relax a night, but this election has got me so pumped...unfortunatly being from MA I feel like such a wall flower, not having much money to spend and all, so I've focused my energies on NH...good news, I was there just this morning...NH is ours!

22. Michigan is surprising
I mean I'm glad were up there, but I expected better--still if these numbers are anywhere near correct, it is very good. I wonder if the landslide in Pennsylvania might help Hoeffel?

30. Just doing my duty... EXIT POLL STATEMENT
Let's always remember THIS:

If a favorable exit poll convinces people to skip voting, that exit poll is 100% GUARANTEED to be wrong. Skipping voting due to exit polls is like not bothering to buy a lottery ticket because someone has told you you're going to win the lottery. It doesn't make sense. You CAN'T win if you don't PLAY.

Exit polls can be a self-negating prophecy. If they are a source of encouragement, great, but they are BY NO MEANS a substitute for voting.

If the lines are long, there's always a wall to lean against. We can't afford to lose ONE VOTE for ANY reason.

Kerry in a land... well, you know the rest. :)

(NOTE: I think it would be a good idea to paste this message into EVERY exit poll thread. If you like, feel free to cut and paste this entire text in case I miss any exit poll threads or leave the keyboard. Thanks.)

37. Early Voting
These are exit polls...so I assume they don't include the early voting which by some accounts Kerry was fairly comfortably ahead in? Is this correct?

39. GDoyle, I believe you may be correct. These exit polls are not showing
early voting, which had Kerry ahead, I believe.
