1. Those Republican beer-guzzlers finally got it
They have been sticking with Bush all the way until this morning, but finally put their beers down long enough to bail on Bush.

12. It's like the stock market...
Bid - The average amount non-owners are willing to buy.
Ask - The average amount owners are willing to sell.

When a winner is announced, whoever has the winning stock will sell their "stock" at 100 and the losers will lose everything.

Kerry had a sub-50 rating for a while, meaning that most "stockowners" didn't think he would win... however, now that things are turning around, and more people are confident Kerry pull it out, his stock is sky-rocketing while Bush's is sky-diving.

Just think of it as gamblers' confidence rating on a scale of 100.

6. It means that people put their money on a Kerry win because
it looks the most likely outcome.

7. A Gambling Site
it's suprising you can bet while the polls are open....

that's like betting on the Super Bowl while it's being played...

8. Make no mistake.
There are by now solid numbers out there. People who play with this do not like to take too many chances.

9. Yes, it's real.
I've read that these are very good indicators...can't remember where...Remember when the Pentagon was toying w/ the idea of a futures market on terror attacks?

10. As someone else said in an earlier post...
this is a REACTIVE type "poll" (I know it's not a poll, but I don't know what else to call it) that is ONLY REACTING TO EXIT POLLING DATA.

If the early exit polls had been reversed, i.e. showing early numbers for Bush, that website would probably be 80-20 for Bush.

So what does it mean? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

The only thing that matters is what the official tally is at the end of the night, not what some gambling addicts are speculating on.

Don't stop running until you cross he finish line!!!!

A rare moment of clarity in a life of general obtuseness, I guess, lol.
