4. Not true...
If they "Red Alert" the west coast, they may obliquely disenfranchise a huge block of the electorate, Dem and Rep bases. There was an op-ed piece by Wayne Madsen; it circulated earlier this year and hypothesized that exact scenario. bushco monitor exit polls; if things are BAD against them, RED ALERT on the west coast, specific threat, neutralizing, go home, stay inside...
