I suspect a lot of straight ticket voting in PA
I am taking a break from working my poll...I will be back there in about 30 more minutes...

Anways...people are moving the lines quickly and that leads me to believe that they are either extremely prepared or they are pulling the lever for a straight ticket...now which ticket...I don't know just yet.

We have had a lot of good responses for Kerry and our state senator Kukovich but I can't quite get a handle on it yet... we are located in Scaife's county so they have been playing pretty hard....

all but the state rep here, Bastian, who is a pretty decent guy.

Every other race went DEM.

Edited to say I am in Somerset County

10. Spectre was the only Repug I even considered voting for

but in the end I didn't.

Yeah, I think he has a shot but it would indeed be an upset.

9. Hi bleedingheart - for the first time in my life I pulled
the straight ticket. Even in the past if voting straight Dem I took the time to consider each race - not this time. So I was in and done in a second. Just a double-check to make sure all the Dem levers were down.

Repugs have to kick the kooks out before I'll consider even a moderate Repug again.

11. No Democratic candidate for Congress here
so I filled in all the ovals. That allowed me to vote for the Green congressional candidate.

It felt really, really good to fill in the Kerry/Edwards oval and I went back and filled it in a second time!

Heavy turnout here, too. I poll-watched 7-9 a.m., as I have posted many times here today, and I think that we will have a higher percentage turnout than the Pubbies.

15. I did in Oregon
because the Republicans collude too much to be trusted. Besides, we have Wyden and DeFazio!!

Races with no Dem, I voted Green or AGAINST THE REPUBLICAN. That's the only way to break the stranglehold.

I did not think about that. Wouldn't that be sweet to pick up a senate seat too in PA.
