I will not smile until there is iron-clad confirmation of a Kerry victory
I remember four years ago how my head nearly spun off my body in disbelief when I heard Dan Rather retract his earlier announcement of a Gore victory in Florida. And this morning, I saw some photographs on Yahoo! of an ominously calm and happy Karl Rove talking on his cell phone. He looked as if he knew something that the rest of us didn't.

A Bush reelection/reappointment will send me irrevocably into a crisis that would dwarf Noah's flood.

Kerry/Edwards -- ya gotta win!

4. It's not REALLY over until January 6, 2005
when the Senate tallies the electoral votes.

And of course, I will not really sigh in relief until after Kerry is sworn in on January 20, 2005.

5. Nor will I.
Too many times I've had my hopes dashed. I'm cautiously optimistic but I'm not celebrating until I see the chimp leaving the White House.

11. I'm struggling..
I'm seeing all of these nice numbers coming-out, and yet I still feel the very real burn from four years ago. I will wait. When Kerry reaches 300, I'll feel a bit safer..

12. Tears, baby!
I'm almost sure I"ll actually start crying when it's for sure. But I too remember 2000. I was so excited I had a glass of wine when they called Florida (and I lived in Pensacola so I was thrilled).

Then when it all went to hell, I was shocked and got so loaded that I passed out.

If I pass out this year, by God, I want it to be for HAPPY reasons!!!
