that's the only explanation for his thinking the House is in play.

Honestly, and I hope to hell I'm proven wrong, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping we get to 50-50 in the Senate.

9. With both parties gerrymandering out competitive races in most states...
It will be very difficult.

Not out of the realm of possibility, because Kerry can have some very long coattails if the voter turnout i like everyone expects, but it will be difficult.

I do feel that we will make some gains though - close the gap more. There are moderate conservatives that are willing to lend us their ears at the least. It'll be the senate if anything else that we have to watch.

11. The GOP stacked it against that by their Texas atrocity.
On the other hand, if some Dems win those 'safe GOP seats,' it would be a real catastrophe for the GOP.
