showed up at ten after 7am and waited in line for about an hour and voting felt fan-fucking-tastic!
no problems, but then again, I live in a liberal stronghold.

Showed up around 11:00 and there was no line and very few people.
Now, anybody who knows California will tell you that is a GOOD thing when there are long lines in San Fran. Modesto is in the deeply red part of our blue state.
Long lines on the coast and no lines in the Big Valley, that's the best we could hope for, really.

Went at 7:00AM. It was the longest line I've ever waited in for voting, though still only 15-20 minutes.

14. West L.A. here. They were lined up down the driveway at the house |

across the street from me - where the polling place is. And just after they opened this morning, too. I've lived here a LONG time, across the street from our precinct, and I have NEVER seen it like that. And VERY hard to find parking, pretty much all day so far.

LONG line at City Hall. I don't about the other parts. I voted absentee.
Stopped by HQ (sad to say I have to wait for my plummer and my car) and there are many folks there.

Grand Terrace--long line this morning (and this is a small town of 11,000).
In San Bernardino, a teacher friend of mine reported that the line was so long he couldn't wait in it and has to try again to vote after work.
We still have a lot of people out here who have to get back to the polls after work.
Celebrating the early poll numbers is good, but it makes me nervous.

Everyone was cold in San Ramon |
|
But it was cold this morning here (a whole 60 DEGREES!!!!! YIKES!!!)
But the lines were out the door.
We were too cold to be fired up...everyone was talking golf.
