You might remember that line from the first Star Wars, and it seems very appropriate now.......

It looks like we're ahead, but we're only half way through the day, and the freepers know we're ahead as well. If I remember four years ago, Bush took the early exit poll lead, we heard about it and beat the bushes in FL and PA and elsewhere to bring things back. The repukes WILL be doing that all day and night, and WE MUST KEEP IT UP and beat them the rest of the day as well.

Victory is in our grasp, but me MUST FINISH STRONG. DON'T STOP TIL YOU DROP!

Brief story about my voter-running today:

I just took Miss Lillie to her polling place to vote. She lives in a shotgun by herself on N 22nd. She just turned 90 and can't see hardly at all, but she was determined to vote. She was allowed a "helper" in the booth with her, so in I went. I asked her who she wanted to vote for president and she said "Kerry -- I always vote all Democratic" and so I pushed the buttons for her and we cast her votes. She's a wonderful woman, and she made my day! Let's hope we deliver the country to Miss Lillie tonight!
