5. No, of course not......
This nation runs on cash, period. If it is indeed decisive, Bush will bow out gracefully because we all have a lot of Christmas shopping to do. If there's a big problem, there will far less money spent on Christmas this year.......

19. Why not just spend the remainder of his term. "On Vacation"?
It seems to be what he's best at.

9. When the Erie Railroad was Taken Over
by hostile stockholders in the 1880s, the management refused to leave.

A crowd of police, court order in hand, broke down the front door and marched to Jay Gould's office. He locked himself in. As the police beat down his office door, he escaped through a side door into another office and blocked that one off. A strange sort of slow-motion chase ensued. It took awhile and a number of broken doors for the police to finally drag him from the building.

That's kind of how I picture it.

25. If You Thought THAT Story Was Good,
Look up "The Scarlet Lady of Wall Street," about the Erie Railroad. Ken Lay was a piker compared to some of the corporate criminals then. They used armed mobs, bribed entire legislatures, cheated stockholders -- all kinds of unbelievable shit!

15. I tend to agree..........
in that I think that he will be more or less relieved to not be President anymore.

They've fucked things up so badly that as usual only a Democrat can clean up their mess.

No concession, no attending Kerry's inaugural, and they trash the WH to the tune of $4-5 Mil...

Mark my words - they're childish little fucktards!

20. i think he'll breathe a huge sigh of relief. he doesn't want
to be president. it's too much damn hard work.

he can go back to doing nothing again, do his fratboy strut, have enough people tell him he's important to satisfy his ego, and make it on a few corporate boards.

he won't have cheney bossing him around anymore. he can probably still nail condi rice whenever he gets that jungle fever. he won't have to pander to a bunch of crazy-ass baptists. HE CAN DRIIIIINKKKKKKKK!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

i think people like cheney and don evans are the ones who'll miss power the most. they'll be spat upon anytime they show up in public. the bush twins won't be special anymore, which probably won't sit well with them. bar' will taunt w. at thanksgiving about not being able to finish the job. and laura will just eat another xanax.

just my opinion, but bush will be more than happy to let go of this. the last four years have changed his attitude about such things.
