of a non-medicinal nature of course. I think he is looking at demographic turnout aided by early voting. The vote suppression and media "closeness" meme has not had any effect.

I would factor in the cheating going on as below 2000 levels simply because it has been successfully challenged. It looks like Ohio will be very mostly fair.

The abysmal turds among the media punditry arte NOT using all the "razor's edge" code words or rarely, but looking in odd places where Bush will score surprisingly well(if any idiot hasn't been paying attention). New Jersey for example has been a mess for the party organization, almost an invite for Bush who made a feint there. There is certainly no talk of a "miracle" there or anywhere, but the media trying to draw our attention to a place where Kerry lost campaigning strength(because of the local mess entirely).

The story is people are about as energized as they could possibly be with or without the extras, though the GOTV workers really do help. There has been no noticeable October move for Bush much less a surprise. Unlike Gore he NEVER recovered from the triple debate fiasco.

GOTV has swamped the voting part of the game. Counting is the last battle and the Dems are doing a lot more than crossing their fingers.

It is 5:30 in WI and I too just had a nice young person knock on the door to make sure we knew what to do.
This is the first time I have lived in a swing state and it is so LIVELY.
