but I also filled in the line for Kerry/Edwards. It was pen and paper, optical scan.

rather than use the straight party option, then double checked everything on the review page to be sure. Everything worked properly, though. I voted early in Tomball (far NW Harris County).

Boy, it'll be somthing if Kerry gets Texas.....I have no illusions of Texas going strong blue, so I'll believe that one when I see it.

Doesn't matter WHAT the outcome tonight is: No one can know whether a computer-based voting booth is functioning properly unless it prints out a completed ballot that the voter can check and then insert into the ballot box. One side of the transaction is anonymous, so this is the ONLY way.

Let's get voter verified paper ballots in place by 2006, EVERYWHERE. The Holt bill or similar. As soon as we knock that one out of the way, we take back the airwaves from conglomerate/corporate media.
