What percentage of DUers might NOT vote? |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 05:54 PM by NoBorders
Of ELIGIBLE voters, that is... I think the the 'get out and vote' admonishments here on DU are a little unecessary, not that there's anything wrong with a friendly reminder, but jeez, if there's one group of people you can count on voting, I think DU would be it...

3. Those who are not citizens of the USA, or not old enough to vote. |
|
Otherwise I'd say we'd be at near 100% turnout.

...but believe me us Canucks would if we could!
(And for the original poster, the GOTV admonishments aren't primarily telling DUers to vote, they're telling DUers to go out and make sure OTHER people vote!)

..unless they finally saw the light.
Anyone else better be really sick to not have voted.
I wonder if there are any crazy Naderites still around.

16. Well, lots of new people hear about DU every day - lurking now... |
|
Let's not let them see some of the boasting threads here and not vote because they think it's in the bag. I assume anyone who knows this address can look through the forums here today - if so they need to see constant reminders until the polls close.
Unless you want to see another 2000??
I didn't think so.
GET OUT AND VOTE!!
Any lurkers who haven't voted - VOTE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I almost didn't vote cuz I didn't have a car or a ride to the polls. Luckily one of my friends happened to stop by, found out that I hadn't voted and gave me a ride. If you know someone who is in the boat I was in in 2000 please call 'em up and give 'em a ride!!
