1. It was Carville who said that
Calson just repeated it and referred to the power of hate.

4. Tucker is Right also
the great under-reported story will be that the republican base did not turn out in the numbers BushCo expected. Reason: Bush turned off many conservatives with his reckless neoconism and disasterous trade polices that enriched his corporate contributors at the expense of good paying american jobs.

10. True.
You know something is wrong when a republican volunteers at the local dem headquarters (in my conservative town) because George has messed things up so badly.

12. And then there are
1) The people who are in the military or have loved ones in the military who are already in Iraq or could go there. I can find very few people who haven't finally admitted that going into Iraq was a catastrophic mistake. It is disgusting that we have spent billions of dollars, and still our soldiers are traveling in unarmored vehicles, without the body armor and helmets they should have, sleeping on cots in 120 degree heat for months on end, etc. etc. etc.

2) The people that who have lost jobs to outsourcing or work in industries where that risk is high.

3) The people who realize that there's nothing pro-life about killing tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens.

4) The people who realize that other than Daniel Pearl, the beheadings by insurgents didn't start until AFTER the US invaded Iraq.
