There's a reason they dominate the airwaves and the discussions. They have powerful convictions, and if they think their personal philosophies are under attack, they're likely to go through hell or high water to defend them. So if the voters on the right have been snowed into thinking that "libruls are going to ban the Bible" or some such nonsense, it very well could result in high turnout on the right, regardless of whether it's for Bush himself.

Underestimating that has gotten us in trouble before. We've just started to wake up to that over the past 4 years.
