1. No, he didn't. The international observers' exit polls showed him winning
The Opposition people were running their own exit polls, but only in the areas where they knew they had support. The opposition polls were VERY skewed, the outside observer polls were accurate and showed a clear Chavez victory.

I totally agree with the "get your fellow Dems out to vote" part of your message -- I just couldn't let the other inaccurate part stand uncorrected.

No matter what, the point is well-taken that it ain't over 'til it's over! :hi:

2. The larger point, though, is that exit polls don't pick a winner.
I'm hopeful, but people are getting carried away.
