MSNBC - Kerry winning all over, but they WON'T CALL THEM |
|
It is working. My wife is practically in tears. She isn't "watching between the lines." MSGOP just did a state-by-state rundown, and it was BLUE BLUE BLUE everywhere, but they are calling every one "too early too call" even with 86% of precincts reporting. Meanwhile, if a cornfield in Bumfuck goes Bush, the map is colored in RED.
JESUS! We're swallowing their Kool-Aid, and we need to stop it.

The media is still playing the "all for *" game. It would be comical if it were not driving me insane at the moment.

8. When they did the story about people waiting 5-6 hours to vote and |
|
some leaving, that made me cry.
Voting isn't supposed to be an endurance test.

9. Turn off MSNBC, turn on CBS. They are doing a good job. |
|
They are trying to be as neutral as possible--not calling anything before they are absolutely certain, and reminding people there have been no surprises yet. We knew the swing states would be close.

10. Are they finished voting on west coast |

I bet they think if they announce it too soon it will affect turnout out there or something.

12. Think $$...if they call it for Kerry we all go to bed. |
|
The republicans all go to bed at 8:00 pm anyway.
Why are we acting so stupid? NONE OF THE BIG MUST-WIN STATES ARE REPORTING. All of those red states and those 177/192 EV's are THE ONES EVERYONE ONE OF US ALREADY KNEW BUSH WOULD WIN?
Did everyone STOP THINKING tonight?

That's exactly it. What the hell could possibly be going on in PA that would keep them from going ahead and calling it?
They just aren't doing it because Rove has threatened them with being WRONG! Rove doesn't want the big three called because he plans to sue there and he doesn't want them colored blue when he does. It is very important to keep the states up in the air so it doesn't look like they're suing to steal them.
I have no idea if that even makes any sense, but I understand what I mean.
