Iowa Clark supporters to back Gephardt? Kucinich a spoiler?

If a candidate fails to win 15 percent of the vote in a caucus meeting, those votes swing to other candidates. It is nearly impossible to game who will benefit most from the horse-trading that distinguishes a caucus from a primary. If retired Army Gen. Wesley K. Clark, who is not competing in Iowa, fails to hit 15 percent, as is likely, one of his top Iowa supporters is urging Clark voters to back Gephardt as a way of slowing Dean and Kerry.

Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich (Ohio) could play the role of spoiler, because he has a fervent following in some pockets. He has been critical of Dean during debates, and his supporters often show up at Dean events to challenge his rival's positions.

They are just really sincere in their convictions.

I know loads of Kucinich people & this is the case.

Don't forget that Gephardt & Dean suddenly toned it down.
If that's true, it's pretty sleazy.

there's nothing to spoil..but they can be "swing voters" if they caucus for their 2nd choice.
