when will Lieberman drop out?
the sooner the better in my view, but I'm betting right after he gets clobbered in NH after being clobbered in Iowa.

now here's a more interesting question: who will he endorse? my money's on Kerry.

8. I think Gephart will drop out first
If he doesn't win Iowa he's toast and I don't think he will. So who will Gep endorse? My guess is Kerry and he does it before NH. Of course I could be wrong as usual but I think Holy Joe takes the campaign through SC.

4. His endorsement will be a negative for whomever.
But the sooner he disappears the better. I hope Connecticut gets a clue and elects a REAL Dem next time.

6. that's why I'm suggesting appoint him to some other position
but not one where he has real power. like some minor ambassadorship, but I'd consider EPA head (see upcoming GD post)

7. Yeah, that might work for him.
As long as he's not in charge of education, where he might insist on some moralistic talibanesque changes.

9. I doubt he'd endorse Bush
Unless he switched parties which I don't see. Zell is (ok will be) out of office and so is Ed Koch who is also campaigning for Bush.

12. it is one of the closest states to his politics
but he'd need the black vote to win. Lieberman can't pull in the black vote.
